Ghee is a form of clarified butter which is prepared by melting butter that is churned from cream. The resulting clear, golden butter fat is then separated from the milk solids. This process gives the Ghee a nutty and aromatic flavour.

Intended/Suggested Uses:

  • Used for cooking.
  • Not for use in infant formula for infants below 12 months of age.

Packaging

Available in the following SKU sizes:

  • 500 g tins that are nitrogen flushed and internally coated with food grade lacquer.
  • 1 Kg tins that are nitrogen flushed and internally coated with food grade lacquer.
  • 18 Kg plastic HDPE food grade plastic buckets.
  • 195 Kg drums that are nitrogen flushed and internally coated with a 2 layer food grade Epoxy Phenolic RDL 44 Lacquer.

Shelf life

  • 12 months from the date of manufacture (195 Kg drum and 18 Kg plastic bucket).
  • 24 months from the date of manufacture (500 g and 1 Kg tins).
