The Dairy June Month was celebrated to shows thanks to all the players along the dairy value chain for their contribution towards making and fresh wholesome milk and products for all enjoy.
The DDA (Dairy Development Authority of Uganda) conceptualized the event and conducted several activities to mark the event including exhibitions by several dairy stakeholders along with schools. School quizzes competition and CSR activities in schools, hospitals and children’s homes were conducted with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Lato was one of the exhibitors in the event and had its own exhibition stall with all products in display. In addition to participating, Lato contributed by
- Distributing over 3000 liters of milk to the School children.
- Distributing Lato products as a CSR initiative in 4 schools.
- CSR in Lyantonde Hospital children’s ward and maternity ward.
- Sponsoring the school fees for one whole year to the winner of the School quiz.
