14 Mar Lato Milk sponsors Buy Uganda Build Uganda Expo 2019
Once again Lato Milk is proud to have been this year’s the gold sponsors for the Inaugural BUBU Expo in Uganda. The three day event at Kololo Airstrip kicked off on Thursday 7th and came to an end Saturday 9th March 2019.
The BUBU Policy was introduced by Uganda’s government through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives with the purpose of stimulating the consumption of locally produced goods and services.
Being a proud provider of dairy products that have been enriching lives of many Ugandans for more than 6 years now Lato Milk was glad to see the event through. Lato Milk holds a track record in great contribution towards building Uganda’s economy through a series of activities such as employment opportunities and community welfare.
During the Expo Lato Milk noticed that its newly introduced Lato Help Pack has made its way into the Ugandan market. Having introduced the Lato Help initiative with the aim to finance corrective surgeries for children living with disabilities in Uganda. The lato help pack was launched and was meant to generate funds for this noble cause. How better to build the Economy than by safeguarding its future.
Lato Milk employees had a chance to meet with many consumers and other business owners and make Pearl Dairy Farmers community known. With its goal to bring dairy farmers in a single platform to grow them into commercial dairy farmers, customers talked of the great impact and improved farming practices witnessed so far.
